You choose a set of up to 8 colors and a gradient mode, and the component blends them together in that style. There are seven modes: Mesh creates a deep, glowing look. Blobs places large soft color circles over a base. Diagonal runs angled gradients across the frame. Vortex arranges colors in a spinning ring around the center. Stripes draws flowing wavy bands. Curved bends color sweeps along curved paths. Diffuse gives a foggy, atmospheric feel like ink in water.

Setting the mode to Random picks one for you on load. If you want a different random result, just increment the Randomize stepper and it cycles to a new one.

Noise adds a film grain layer over the gradient. Scale controls the grain size (1 is fine, 8 is chunky) and Opacity controls how subtle or strong it appears.

Animation is off by default so it stays still while you're editing, but turning it on makes the gradient slowly shift and breathe in preview and on your published site. Speed controls how fast it moves.
