TL;DR:

SegmentUI is available under two licenses: Pro and Pro Creator. The Pro License allows use in commercial, educational, and personal projects, enabling modifications and use in templates, but prohibits any form of redistribution or resale. The Pro Creator License includes all the privileges of the Pro License with the additional ability to use SegmentUI for creating templates specifically for Framer. Redistribution or resale as component libraries or UI kits is strictly prohibited under both licenses. Segment Design retains all ownership rights. Unlicensed use and unauthorized redistribution will lead to legal action, treating each instance as a lost sale. There are no refunds for any purchase; customers are strongly encouraged to preview the paid components to ensure they meet their needs before buying.

Full Agreement:

1. License Types:

   • Pro License: Enables the use of SegmentUI in commercial, educational, and personal projects. Users can modify the product for use in their projects but are prohibited from redistributing any modified or original content.

   • Pro Creator License: Expands the Pro License to include the creation of templates specifically for Framer. This license does not permit the creation of templates for other platforms or the resale as component libraries or UI kits.

2. Usage Rights:

   • Modifications for personal, educational, and commercial use are permitted under the Pro License. Redistribution of SegmentUI, whether modified or original, as a free or paid product is strictly prohibited.

3. Restrictions:

   • Redistribution of SegmentUI in any form as part of a bundle or otherwise is prohibited.

   • Creation of derivative component libraries or UI kits from SegmentUI for sale or free distribution is not allowed under any license.

4. Ownership and Copyright:

   • All rights to SegmentUI are owned by Segment Design. Purchasing a license grants use rights under specified conditions but does not transfer ownership.

5. Enforcement and Penalties:

   • Unauthorized use, including unlicensed use and redistribution, will result in legal action, with each unauthorized distribution treated as a lost sale, liable at the current sale price per instance.

6. Support and Updates:

   • Support is available via hello@segmentUI.com. We strive to assist with any issues but please note, support is offered as a courtesy, not as an obligation.

7. No Refund Policy:

   • All sales of SegmentUI are final. Refunds are not available under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, decision not to use Framer, accidental purchase, or incompatability with Framer’s functionality updates. We strongly recommend utilizing the free versions of SegmentUI and previewing the paid components to ensure they suit your needs before purchasing.

8. License Upgrades:

   • To upgrade from Pro to Pro Creator, contact us via hello@segmentUI.com with details of the current license and the upgrade request.

9. Limitation of Liability:

   • Segment Design is not liable for any issues arising from the use of SegmentUI, including incompatibility with software updates from Framer.

10. Free Versions:

    • Free versions of SegmentUI are available and subject to the same restrictions as paid licenses concerning redistribution and derivative product creation. They are suitable for template creation but not for resale as kits or component libraries.
