The waveform reads the frequencies in your audio in real time and turns them into animated bars. Here's what the key controls do:

Sensitivity is how dramatically the bars react — low and they barely move, high and they go wild with every beat.

Smoothing controls how fluid it feels. Low values make bars snap and jitter; high values make them slow and floaty. Around 0.8 is a solid sweet spot.

Frequency Emphasis decides which part of the sound gets the most visual space — Bass stretches the low end, Treble highlights high-pitched sounds, and Flat spreads evenly across everything.

Min Bar Height keeps bars from disappearing completely during quiet moments so the visualizer always looks alive.

Peak Indicators are small floating markers that sit at the highest point each bar recently hit. Peak Hold controls how long they freeze there, and Peak Decay controls how fast they fall, together they give that classic audio meter look.

Amplitude Gradient shifts bar color based on height, quiet bars stay at your base color, loud bars blend toward your gradient color, making the loudest moments visually pop.
