The component works by displaying a fixed overlay that covers your entire page. Visitors see six input boxes where they type or paste the password. When all six digits match your set password, the overlay vanishes. If wrong, it clears and lets them try again. Enable "Remember Password" and returning visitors skip the gate entirely using browser storage.

In the property controls, you set your 6-digit password and toggle whether to remember authenticated users. You can style the background color, customize each input box's size, spacing, colors, and font, adjust border appearance including style and radius, set focus states for when an input is active, and add hint text below the inputs with its own styling.
